By Travelodge standards this is a good one. All the rooms are the Travelodge 'new design' style. Spacious and with smart TVs. Showers are ok without being outstanding. There is no restaurant on-site but you have two restaurants within a two-minute walk of the hotel and other food options at nearby shopping outlet which is again a two-minute walk. Secure parking on-site at £2 per day. It's not 5* but as far as Travelodge's go this is a good one.

We come pretty much annually and this is a lovely example of the brand, nice staff, clean rooms and perfect location

It's cheap and good value. The standard of cleaning could be a little higher (there were some very strange stains on the floor of my room) but I can't complain for the £40 a night that I paid, especially considering the convenience of being close to restaurants and the conference centre.

Perfect location, lovely staff
Downfalls are hair on bedding, bath toilet
Uncomfortable bed
Noise outside due to road works through the night.
Room is far too hot heater off and window open.
And smell of sewage outside and waffting around the bedroom very dissapointed no sleep

Greeted at reception by a member of staff who was super helpful, exactly what you Nedd when you check in at 7pm. Well laid out and has 1 lift. No air con but was nice and cosy inside and clean. Free parking which is well lit at night.

Hotel itself was top notch. But beware Spalding itself is awful, everywhere shuts at 6pm and it's full of racists

It's OK. Some bedding was not very nice and had stains, but the staff rectified this.

A typical Travelodge, although better than others I've stayed in. Clean and functional. No frills. Limited places to eat nearby, had to drive to eat inthe evening. A nearby Nero was a walk round the corner and provided standard fare for breakfast.

Got to be the nicest Travelodge I have ever stayed in, was very pleasantly surprised. The whole hotel looked and smelt very clean, my room was massive with a lovely comfortable king sized bed, a decent sized tv, comfortable chair and a nice view of the park and duck pond out of my window, the bathroom was good and the shower was very powerful. The car park out the front is only £2 a day which I didn’t think was too bad. Would return to this hotel again

It's a travel lodge. Other than locations they are just all the same hotels found it a bit noisy by the a16 though but Springfield is ok to go around if you have a few hours spare

I came with my family (including a toddler and baby) as we were attending an event in the conference centre which is a 2 minute walk. Laura made us feel very welcome and she went out of her way to help us with everything we needed. We had a very pleasant and comfortable weekend stay and I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks Laura!

Don't even know where to start if it comes to the thought of the room. Dirty, hair everywhere, leaking toilet, bathtub-don't even want to comment on this one. Comfortable bed, bud attention to hair would be appreciated. No drinking water in the room. Weird smell. No soundproofing in the room which is a massive issue for me.
Service is okay but could be more people-friendly when they ask some questions.
The location is great. Loads of shops around the corner, a restaurant and a lovely park
